Thank you for your interest in my candidacy for State Representative.
I look forward to demonstrating over the coming months that I am a reasonable and thoughtful individual, with the relevant experience to effectively represent you in the Legislature.
My recent professional experience was serving as Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity. I’ve also owned and operated a local home construction business here in the Tri-Cities, and have years of Bargaining Unit, Supervisory and Management experience in nuclear operations and safety at the Hanford Site.
I currently serve as President of the Richland School Board, and am immediate Past President of Leadership Tri-Cities. I am a Trustee for the Bailie Youth Memorial Foundation, and previously served our community on the Richland Public Facilities District Board, the Hanford Advisory Board, the Tri-Cities Regional Chamber of Commerce and in Richland Rotary. I am also active in my church.
Please visit the Issues tab above and contact me with any questions. Thank you.
-Rick

I am proud of my family. I am married to Kristi who is a science and Spanish teacher in Kennewick. We have five children. The oldest three are married and live in the Tri-Cities, and the youngest two are in Richland Schools.
My family and I are active in our community church, where I serve on the leadership council. I believe in service, and have served on mission trips locally and around the world, including India, Thailand, and Latin America. |
